We set off from Kelana Jaya (to be exact, Karak where my family and my aunt’s family meet) at 7.30 am. After a drastic journey of 4 hours, we reached Kemaman using the East Coast Highway. We had stuffed crab as lunch (that is what Kemaman famous of).
Then, we continue our journey up north to Kuala Terengganu. That journey took a very long time, about three hours to get there, but the worse part is, the town traffic. Or, to be exact, city traffic (it is announced that it changes its status into city effective on 2nd February). The traffic is so congested, and imagine, plus the SUKMA is going on, it is a chaos!!! Searching for our tour agency is also a challenge as we go round and round in the city looking for the office.
Finally, around 5 pm, everything settled down. OK, not everything. The last thing we need to settle down is, accommodation problem. As I said earlier, the SUKMA is going on; therefore there are not many rooms available. (Actually, there are no rooms available in Hotel Seri Malaysia, 5-star hotels in Batu Buruk or anywhere!) Then, it was a relief we found a RM90-for-9-people room. Or else, we will be sleeping in the car.
We had dinner at around 7-8 pm at Pizza Hut. After that, we went back to our room. In that “Rumah Tumpangan”, there are three toilets available for everyone in the motel. So, we are waiting for our turns anxiously. Around 12 am, all of us was tugged to bed.

7.30 am, we are all woke up. We had our breakfast at a hawker centre. My mother’s friend’s family came shortly after we had our breakfast. One of the staffs drove a vehicle to lead us to the jetty which brings us to Redang Island. About 5 kilometres leaving the office, my aunt’s car get lost. They got distracted by a similar car which also goes to the jetty but using another road. Luckily we found out and wait for them to get on the correct road. From there until the jetty, there was no problem along the way. We reached the car park for the jetty. After parking our cars, we waited for the boat to bring us to the island.
There were a lot of tourists wait there too, and our jetty is a small one. We saw another jetty which is not like ours a wood-build jetty but a concrete one. Plus, that jetty also has a fan. We are curious, and wonder which hotel has that quite-luxurious facility.
